The Commission on Black Girls.

Founded by Columbus City Councilmember, Priscilla R. Tyson, the Commission on Black Girls aims to develop and implement recommendations to ensure opportunities, successful futures, and the achievement of a high quality of life for Black Girls in Columbus.

OUTCOMES: As a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Commission on Black Girls tasked PMM with creating a localized, cross-functional, multi-channeled campaign to encourage, educate and empower the quality of life for Black girls in Central Ohio and beyond. ​​

RESULTS: ​​PMM led strategic local awareness for the children’s advocacy group, Commission on Black Girls, in a campaign called Black Girls Soar created to inspire, motivate and amplify of the stories of Black girls often untold and unheard. PMM led the OOH campaign, virtual summit, back-to-school rally and multi-episodic television program for girls.
